First and foremost, being a member of the United States Naval Academy (USNA) Alumni Association in the Upper Midwest affords each individual the opportunity to “give back” to the Naval Academy for the terrific education and opportunities we were provided. Your support helps make your Chapter stronger, and stronger Chapters around the country benefit the Alumni Association, the Academy, the U.S.Navy, and our Nation. Membership also provides individuals with the following opportunities:
Members are kept informed of pertinent information and activities relevant to the USNA, the USNA Alumni Association, and the USNA Foundation through newsletters, emails, and monthly breakfasts. Members are sent Event Alerts - an exclusive member benefit - to ensure you are aware of local events that might be of interest.
Members are provided access to the USNAAA Upper Midwest Chapter Web Page that includes current news, the Chapter Newsletter, meeting and event forms and/or registration, helpful resources, and useful links to a variety of informative websites.
Professional Networking and Social Events
Members are invited to attend monthly breakfast events (Metro Westside and Metro Eastside) that provide opportunities to re-connect with classmates and shipmates while hearing from guest speakers on a wide range of topics. Alumni attending usually span over 70 years of graduation classes.
Members are invited to Chapter Events including both scheduled annual events like the Army-Navy football Party, Alumni Picnic, All-Service Golf Classic, Navy Birthday Ball, and local air expos and ad hoc events arising from opportunities with "partner" organizations. Many of these events are made available at discounted pricing to members.
Members are provided myriad networking opportunities through the monthly breakfasts, employment hub, and local events and seminars. Don't miss the chance to network with fellow alumni transitioning out of the service, those looking to hire, and those looking to do business with fellow alumni. Members' dues helped fund the Tri-Service Employment Hub website that helps facilitate networking and job search.
Members are provided a USNAAA Upper Midwest Chapter Directory that lists contact information for all active chapter members. Get connected and stay connected!
Through our USNAAA Trustee (with a permanent seat) and the USNAAA Upper Midwest Chapter Board of Directors, we have a voice back to the USNA Alumni Association and Foundation for issues or items of interest.
USNAAA Upper Midwest Chapter members are afforded the opportunity to nominate and promote USNA Distinguished Graduate Award Nominees.
Members assist the USNAAA Upper Midwest Chapter in sponsoring events for our Navy-Marine Corps sailors and servicemen, midshipmen and families of midshipmen, able and disabled veterans, and other like-minded organizations who support our mission.
Identify Future Leaders to Serve in our Navy and our Community
